Taroudant Flood Aftermath: Imi Ntiart Residents Face Severe Water Shortage

Three days after the tragedy in the province of Taroudant on August 28, the populations of the surrounding regions, including the commune of Imi Ntiart, are suffering from water supply. This shortage of the blue gold would be linked to the dramatic floods caused by the thunderstorms that hit the region.
Due to the dramatic floods caused by the thunderstorms experienced by the province of Taroudant, the populations of Imi Ntiart are facing a lack of drinking water due to the blocked roads. This makes living conditions difficult.
According to 2m.ma, several douars in the province are having a hard time dealing with this problem related to the water shortage. The same source reports that the water supply is now possible thanks exclusively to the reservoirs provided by the local authorities.
In addition to this water shortage problem, several road axes are closed, leading to the isolation of many douars in the region, notably Idou Saoun, Assoulaï and others under the communes of Imi Ntiart and Adar, in the province of Taroudant. These deadly floods experienced by this province caused the death of seven people in the douar of Tizert.
