Severe Thunderstorms Forecast for Multiple Moroccan Provinces, Following Deadly Floods

Orange-level thunderstorms are expected from this Thursday from 11am to 11pm in several provinces of Morocco, according to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
These showers are expected in the provinces of Al Haouz, Azilal, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Chichaoua, Marrakech, Rehamna, Al Haouz, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Kelaa Sraghna and Midelt, according to a statement from DMN.
The same source reports that these showers may be accompanied locally by hail and gusts under storms.
Yesterday, torrential rains hit the Taroudant region, causing several deaths and missing persons.
