Heavy Thunderstorms Expected in Multiple Moroccan Provinces, Weather Service Warns

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts locally heavy thunderstorms, this Tuesday and Wednesday, in several provinces of the kingdom.
In a weather alert bulletin, the DGM specifies that these orange-level showers, which will reach 20 to 35 mm, are expected from Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. to Wednesday at 3:00 a.m. in the provinces of Al Haouz, Azilal, Chichaoua, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Fquih Ben Salah, Khouribga, Marrakech and Rehamna.
The same phenomenon (20 to 50 mm) will occur tomorrow Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. in the provinces of Boulemane, Figuig, Jerada, Errachidia and Midelt, the same source continues, warning that these thunderstorms will be accompanied locally by hail and gusts of wind under storms.
