Severe Thunderstorms to Strike Multiple Moroccan Provinces, Weather Service Warns

Heavy thunderstorms will hit several Moroccan provinces tomorrow Tuesday and Wednesday, September 22, warns the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
These showers (20-30 mm) are expected on Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the provinces of Boulemane, Figuig, Guercif, Ifrane, Jerada, Khenifra, Midelt, Sefrou, Taounate, Taourirt and Taza, the DGM specifies in an orange weather alert bulletin.
Thunderstorms (30-50 mm) are expected to affect the provinces of Al Hoceima, Berkane, Chefchaouen, Driouch, Nador, Oujda-Angad and Tetouan from Tuesday at 6:00 pm to Wednesday at 3:00 pm, the same source adds, stating that they could be accompanied locally by gusts of wind under storm and hail.
