Morocco Braces for Intense Thunderstorms and Hail in Multiple Provinces

Strong thunderstorms will hit several Moroccan provinces this Tuesday and Wednesday, October 27, 2021, warns the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
These showers (20-40 mm) are expected from Tuesday at 12pm to Wednesday at 6am in the provinces of Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Boulemane, Errachidia, Figuig, Ifrane, Midelt and Tinghir, the DGM specifies in an orange weather alert bulletin.
These thunderstorms will be accompanied locally by hail and gusty winds under storms, the same source adds.
