Severe Weather Alert: Thunderstorms and Strong Winds Hit Multiple Moroccan Provinces

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts locally heavy thunderstorms and gusts of wind (30 to 80 km/h) this Friday in several provinces of the kingdom.
Locally heavy thunderstorms are expected this Friday until 11:00 PM in the provinces of Al Haouz, Marrakech and Chichaoua, the DGM said in an orange weather alert bulletin.
In addition, gusts of wind (60 to 80 km/h) will be recorded this Friday until 11:00 PM in the provinces of Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Marrakech, Rehamna, El Kalaa des Sraghna, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Khouribga, Settat, Fquih Ben Salah, Midelt, Ouarzazate, Tanger-Assilah, Mdiq-Fnideq and Tétouan, the DGM added.
The same phenomenon (30 to 45 km/h) will occur during the same period in the provinces of Larache, Ouezzane and Taza.
