Severe Weather Alert: Morocco Braces for Heavy Thunderstorms and Strong Winds

Locally heavy thunderstorms (20-30 mm) and sometimes strong gusts of wind (65 to 85 km/h) are expected in several Moroccan provinces, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
Locally heavy thunderstorms (20 to 30 mm) will hit the provinces of Khénifra, Ifrane, Béni Mellal, Azilal, Al Haouz and Chichaoua until 9:00 pm this Wednesday, the DGM said in a weather alert bulletin with an orange level of vigilance.
The DGM also announces that sometimes strong gusts of wind (65 to 85 km/h) are expected this Wednesday until 10:00 pm in the provinces of Chichaoua, Al Haouz, Marrakech, Rehamna, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Azilal, Fquih Ben Saleh, Khénifra and Jerada.
