Tangier Prepares for Major Events: Wali Orders Corniche Nightclub Renovations

During a recent field visit, Younes Tazi, wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, denounced the "non-compliance by the owners of cabarets and nightclubs on the corniche with the agreed specifications" and ordered those concerned to comply.
As part of the planned improvements in this area, in preparation for the CAN Morocco 2025 and the 2030 World Cup, the wali ordered the 13 cabarets on the corniche to "harmonize their facades according to an agreed model."
The measure aims to improve the aesthetics of the corniche, sources indicated, adding that these renovation works will be subject to rigorous technical monitoring by the competent authorities to prevent any unauthorized modifications.
