Tangier Police Raid Suspected Illegal Massage Parlor, Arrest Seven
A unit of the vice squad, under the Tangier police prefecture, conducted a raid on a massage parlor in the city center. This intervention was motivated by suspicions that the establishment was serving as a front for prostitution.
This operation, carried out in a premises, led to the arrest of seven masseuses, according to sources at Al3omk. They were reportedly apprehended in the act of suspicious activities.
The same sources indicate that a decision to close the premises had been issued in June 2024 by local authorities. This decision followed a visit by a joint commission, which had noted several violations, particularly the exploitation of the premises under a hairdressing license while the declared activity was that of a spa.
The arrested individuals were taken to the Tangier police prefecture. A thorough investigation is currently being conducted concerning them, as part of official reports, in preparation for their presentation before the competent prosecutor’s office.
