Tanger Med Port Terminal Breaks Container Handling Record Despite Global Challenges

This is a feat for the group, which shows a 10% increase compared to 2020. A performance recorded in a context marked by the Covid-19 pandemic and the blockage of the Suez Canal in March 2021. With more than 2.2 million TEUs, APM Terminals Tangier has just confirmed its title as the best terminal for the year 2021.

With the figures achieved each year by the group, no accident has been reported. This transshipment terminal is one of the most productive in Tanger Med, as it alone handles 30% of the total container volume passing through the Moroccan megaport, while displaying high productivity levels.
