Suspect Arrested in Marrakech Home Burglary After Police Investigation

According to a security source cited by Hespress, it was the intense search operations based on technical and scientific expertise and parallel investigations that allowed the police to identify and arrest the suspect. This, after a complaint from the victim against an unknown person, regarding a theft in his home.

Once apprehended, the defendant, according to the media, admitted the facts. Indeed, he had in his possession a copy of the main door key that had been given to him by his accomplice, who is none other than an employee at the victim’s home. This is how he managed to break into a closet and take the loot.

The same source specifies that the accomplice was also arrested. He indeed admitted to having handed over a copy of the house door key to the main suspect. This investigation nevertheless allowed the seizure of a significant portion of the stolen money that the latter was hiding at the home of one of his relatives.

For the needs of the investigation, the two suspects were placed in custody under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, concludes the same media.
