Teens Arrested for $25,000 Store Heist in Morocco, Police Recover Most Funds

Two 17-year-old minors were arrested on Wednesday, September 4 by the Ouled Taima police station. They are involved in a burglary, committed on Sunday, September 1, in a commercial premises in the city.
According to the press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the two suspects would have seized a sum of money worth more than 250,000 dirhams, after having drilled a hole in the wall of a household goods store.
Immediately carried out, the investigations on the ground made it possible to identify and arrest the two young men, as well as to seize the majority of the loot.
The DGSN, through the same press release, indicated that the two suspects were placed under police observation, at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to elucidate the details of this case.
