Ouarzazate Police Arrest Two Vendors in Fatal Assault on Epileptic Man

The Regional Judicial Police Service of Ouarzazate arrested two street vendors. These 20 and 22 year olds are allegedly involved in a case of assault and battery, which led to the death of an epileptic.
The security services discovered the decomposing body of the 25-year-old victim near the esplanade of a mosque in the city, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
Subsequently, the investigations carried out made it possible to identify two suspects that the police arrested, for the needs of the investigation.
According to the conclusions of the initial investigations, the two accused physically assaulted the epileptic victim with a stone. The man succumbed to his injuries.
Pending the continuation of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, the two suspects have been placed in custody.
