Suspect Arrested in Fqih Ben Saleh for Attempted Kidnapping and Drug Possession

The elements of the judicial police from the provincial district of the Fqih Ben Saleh police proceeded, at the beginning of the week, to the arrest of an individual with multiple criminal records. He would be involved in a case of driving under the influence and attempted kidnapping under threat.
The police services arrested the suspect after receiving information about an attempted kidnapping of two women under threat by an individual who was driving a light vehicle, reports the DGSN.
The investigation proved fruitful: the 45-year-old suspect was arrested. Similarly, the investigators seized a bladed weapon, a tear gas canister, a quantity of chira and an electronic scale used in drug and psychotropic trafficking activities found in his vehicle.
According to the same source, a national arrest warrant had been issued against the suspect for aggravated theft, drug trafficking and intentional violence. Pending his appearance, he was placed in custody.
