At first, the national police considered the hypothesis of a settling of scores between drug trafficking networks, because the victim’s relatives were reluctant to cooperate with the police and the attack took place in a known drug dealer area.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested late last week at a checkpoint near Montequinto. The judge ordered his pre-trial detention last weekend. The police are continuing their investigation and are looking for two other suspects.
