Surge in Moroccan Youth Attempting Dangerous Border Crossings to Melilla

The road transport vehicles leaving Morocco are stormed by young Moroccans who try to cling to them to reach Melilla. The goal is to cross the Beni Enzar border to finally find themselves in Spain.
The scene offered by these young Moroccan children, candidates for illegal immigration, is pathetic.
Especially with the end of summer which sees the return of vacationers and other tourists, there is an increase in these acts of incivility whose consequences are incalculable, indicates El periodico.
The most dangerous scene in recent days took place on Tuesday, October 8 in Nador, the Moroccan city neighboring Melilla.
Thus, several minors have tried to cling to the trailer of a truck from the Spanish company, J.Cuenca, which is trying to advance to reach the autonomous city with its cargo.
However, the driver is prevented from continuing his journey because of the dozens of unaccompanied minors who are desperately looking for a place at the level of the spaces between the wheels, in the engine or even under the trailer.
Often overwhelmed by events, the drivers only use their horns as a deterrent, hoping that the children will give up their attempts, especially since the Moroccan police generally do not intervene.
