Moroccan Youths Attempt to Board Empty Spanish Buses at Melilla Border

Several children and young Moroccans tried last Sunday to sneak into two buses that were returning from Saïdía as the vehicles were preparing to cross Melilla through the Beni-Enzar border post.
The young people even managed to open one of the doors of the two buses, reports the local website Melilla Hoy, with video support.
Fortunately, there were no serious incidents to report, such as cases of theft of personal belongings. The buses in question were empty and were returning from the tourist resort of Saïdía where they had gone to drop off passengers.
Stating that "this is not an isolated case", the bus company vigorously denounced "the very serious events that occurred at the Beni Enzar border, as well as the passivity of the Moroccan authorities".
The drivers then made it known: "We do not feel protected when we go to the neighboring country." In this way, they were calling on the Government Delegation and the Bus Cooperative to consider "solutions to this grievance", the same source specifies.
