Spain to Repatriate Spanish and Moroccan-Spanish ISIS Families from Syria

The Spanish government has decided to repatriate all the children of jihadists as well as their mothers currently detained in Syria. Moroccan-Spaniards are also affected by this measure announced by the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The initiative, which will involve more than 17 Moroccan children and their mothers, comes after the fall of the last Daesh camps.
The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, Josep Borrell, declared before the European Parliament on Monday, October 7, that the Spanish socialist government will proceed to repatriate the jihadists of both sexes naturalized in Spain, as well as their children, in order to prosecute those involved in criminal cases.
"The Spanish jihadists are not numerous. Every Spanish citizen has the right to protection, and must answer for his actions before justice, if necessary," he added, in response to a question from a European deputy.
Before repatriating the 17 Moroccan minors, Spain is seeking to gather as much information as possible about their relatives, in case the mothers are prosecuted by the justice system.
