Surge in Daylight Burglaries Alarms Mohammedia Residents, Authorities Urged to Act

A series of burglaries has recently affected several neighborhoods in the city of Mohammedia. Concerned residents are calling on the authorities to act and put an end to it.
The criminals have laid their hands on various valuable objects, ranging from household electronic devices (televisions, computers, etc.) to surveillance cameras, as well as electrical equipment and even a motorcycle, reports Al3omk.
The thieves acted with a certain disdain, operating in broad daylight and leaving little trace behind them. However, surveillance cameras installed in the vicinity managed to capture images of a suspicious individual loading the stolen goods into a car.
The royal gendarmerie, alerted by the victims, immediately opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office. The initial investigations revealed that the car used for the burglaries bore a questionable license plate, registered at an address located in the El Fida Derb Sultan district in Casablanca.
Faced with this worrying situation, the residents have expressed their concern and frustration about the growing insecurity in their neighborhood.
