Burglars Target Homes of Moroccans Abroad in Guelmim Neighborhood

The Al Qods neighborhood in Guelmim is in shock after a series of burglaries that targeted several homes, including those belonging to Moroccans residing abroad (MREs).
On Monday, October 28, residents discovered that two houses belonging to MREs, currently outside the Kingdom, and a sports hall had been targeted by thieves, reports Achkayen. The incidents would have taken place at the end of last week.
In the sports hall, the criminals stole cash and the surveillance camera hard drive, thus complicating the task of the investigators.
The two houses visited belong to MREs taking advantage of their absence to commit their misdeeds. The amount of the losses suffered by the owners remains to be determined.
