While Morocco and Algeria have "mutually" suspended their air links, in order to effectively deal with the spread of the coronavirus, about a hundred Algerian passengers are stuck in the kingdom.
This decision immediately led to the cancellation of the flight of the national airline Air Algérie which was to repatriate these Algerians, reports TSA-Algérie.
Desperate, the passengers blocked in Morocco went to the Algerian embassy in Rabat, where they informed the Algerian consular authorities of their situation.
Air Algérie has also decided to suspend its flights to Spain from Monday, March 16 until April 4.
