Spirit Aerosystems Expands Moroccan Workforce, Adding 50 Jobs in Aerospace Sector

After a pause in 2021, recruitment has resumed in Morocco at American Spirit Aerosystems, a world leader in the manufacture of aerostructures for civil and military aviation. Dozens of people have already been hired.
Last year, Spirit Aerosystems recruited no less than 70 new agents in Morocco, representing a net increase in its workforce (after deducting departures) from 200 employees at the end of 2021 to 250 employees a year later, reports Challenge. The aerospace equipment manufacturer based in Wichita, Kansas in the United States is thus strengthening its Moroccan workforce. In 2020, it had resumed the industrial activities of the Canadian Bombardier in Casablanca.
In 2022, the group’s Spirit Aerosystems revenue reached more than $5 billion (over 50 billion DH). The global workforce stands at more than 18,000 employees, including 5,500 outside the US sites, notably in Ireland, Scotland, Malaysia, Morocco and France.
