Spanish Police Bust Ring Selling Fake Moroccan Driver’s Licenses, 41 Implicated

The Civil Guard has dismantled a network of fake Moroccan driver’s licenses in several Spanish provinces, particularly in Navarre. In total, more than 50 fake licenses were seized, one person was arrested in Madrid and 40 others are under investigation for document forgery.
The network was exchanging the fake Moroccan driver’s licenses for Spanish licenses. The Guardia Civil carried out a search at the home of the forger arrested in Madrid, considered the distribution point for the fake driver’s licenses in different regions of Spain.
Several documents, cash, mobile devices and fake driver’s licenses were seized. The operation is ongoing and could lead to the arrest of forty other people involved in this traffic of fake documents.
