One of the drug trafficking organizations operating in the provinces of Cadiz and Seville, in southern Spain, has been dismantled. This is the result of an investigation conducted by the Spanish Civil Guard over several months.
The investigation proved fruitful. In total, the operation carried out by the Civil Guard to dismantle the drug trafficking network in the provinces of Cadiz and Seville resulted in the seizure of 6 tons of hashish, 5 boats worth an estimated 1.5 million euros, 480,000 euros and 17 vehicles. 78 people believed to be members of this network were also arrested.
In fact, it was the discovery of an abandoned boat with 2.5 tons of hashish on board that launched the start of an investigation last February. 6 firearms were seized during the searches carried out as part of this operation.
Continuing in this dynamic, the Spanish authorities have issued 15 search and arrest warrants against alleged members of this network. For the Civil Guard, this is one of the most active drug trafficking organizations in the south of the country that has been dismantled.
