Spanish Drug Traffickers Rescue, Then Arrested by Civil Guard in Dramatic Sea Chase

Spanish Civil Guards had their lives saved thanks to drug traffickers they were chasing at sea. Once rescued, they did not hesitate to arrest their saviors who were transporting three tons of Moroccan hashish.
The Civil Guard, a military police force in Spain, has, in a press release, recounted the facts. According to them, the scene took place on Friday, October 4.
A Civil Guard boat chased "a semi-rigid motor boat suspected of transporting drugs with four people on board", off Mijas, in the far south of Andalusia. This drug cargo came from Morocco.
Collision had become inevitable for the two boats during the pursuit at sea. As a result, the three civil guards fell into the water as their boat "spun out of control", the same source specifies.
It was then that a Civil Guard helicopter called, through a loudspeaker, for help from the alleged traffickers. They managed to rescue them.
The Civil Guard has, of course, shown gratitude but this did not prevent it from finally arresting the four occupants of the boat for the offense of drug trafficking. It also seized more than 80 bales for a weight of about three tons, the same press release details.
