Spanish Police Bust Major Drug Ring: 85 Arrested, 5 Tons of Cannabis Seized

The operation, according to Europa sur, which was crowned with success, led to the arrest of 85 individuals and the seizure of more than 5 tons of cannabis resin, as well as 49 cars and 17 firearms.

The elements of the Spanish Guardia civil also managed to recover several hundred thousand euros, in the possession of the members of the networks, who were very active in the southern region of Spain.

According to a statement from the Guardia civil, the arrest of the 85 members of the international networks was carried out at the level of the Strait of Gibraltar.
