Spanish Police Bust Luxury Car Smuggling Ring at Ceuta Border

An international network of luxury car trafficking has just been dismantled by the Spanish Guardia civil. At the Ceuta border post, three individuals were arrested as they were trying to smuggle a car stolen in Germany.
The three people, who were trying to pass the Spanish enclave towards Tetouan, were on board a car worth 100,000 euros. It belonged to a car rental company located in Germany.
According to the police, the license plates of the car had been modified, in order to facilitate its introduction into Morocco.
The arrest of the three individuals made it possible to dismantle a network of luxury car trafficking, very active in the city of Marbella. The Guardia civil managed to seize 11 vehicles worth one million euros.
