Moroccan Woman Delivers Baby Alone in Car at Ceuta Border Crossing

Giving birth is the most beautiful but also the most painful moment in a woman’s life. Often, mothers spend nine months preparing for this moment, which is often immortalized, with impatience and a little fear.
This Moroccan woman from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta could have expected anything but what was about to happen to her. On board her car, she set out to reach the hospital where she was to give birth to her baby.
Sudden and intense uterine contractions forced her to stop her car at the border crossing point. She ended up discovering the pains and joys of childbirth, all alone, in her car.
Faced with this dangerous situation for the mother and the baby, the Spanish Guardia Civil called an ambulance which transported them urgently to the Ceuta University Hospital so that they could receive first aid. Named Mohamed, the baby is doing very well at the moment.
