Spanish Police Arrest Jihadist Terror Suspect Wanted by France in Ceuta

The Spanish National Police arrested on Tuesday in Ceuta a radicalized man who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the French judicial authorities for his alleged involvement in acts related to jihadist terrorism.
Considered violent, the man was also wanted by Interpol for the same acts, the Spanish police said, specifying that the accused has a long criminal record for having committed several common law crimes.

The information provided by the French authorities made it possible to locate him in Ceuta and to proceed with his arrest during an operation carried out by agents of the Provincial Information Brigade of Ceuta as part of a vast anti-terrorist operation.
The defendant was made available to the Central Court of Investigation, which ordered his detention.
