Spain Arrests Moroccan Fugitive Wanted for Drug Trafficking and Multiple Crimes

The Spanish National Police arrested a Moroccan in Almeria who was wanted by Moroccan authorities. The man must serve a ten-year prison sentence for criminal association, drug trafficking and several other offenses.
The agents located and arrested the Moroccan in Almeria in early February, just a few days after January 31, the date on which Interpol issued an international arrest warrant against him for the purpose of extradition, according to Madrid Press.

The 34-year-old suspect had fled Morocco after being sentenced to ten years in prison for a crime of criminal association, drug trafficking, vehicle theft, license plate forgery, corruption and complicity.
After his arrest, the suspect was made available to the Almería investigating court, which ordered his detention, pending his extradition to Morocco.
