Spanish Neighborhood Unites to Celebrate Moroccan Girl’s Birthday During Lockdown

It is a very nice surprise that a young girl of Moroccan origin received on the occasion of her birthday. The entire neighborhood participated in this somewhat original celebration.
The coronavirus epidemic and the confinement it imposes did not prevent the residents of a Spanish neighborhood from sharing Salma’s joy, by celebrating her 12th birthday from the balconies and windows of their apartments.
The little girl, whose family is from Beni Mellal, was given a gift of size. Police officers sang the traditional birthday song in chorus, mentioning the little girl’s name. The gesture was widely applauded by the residents.
The fourth largest outbreak in Europe, with nearly 85,000 infected people, Spain recorded 838 covid-19 deaths in 48 hours, totaling more than 7,300 deaths since the start of the epidemic.
