Spain: Third Moroccan National Dies from Coronavirus as Outbreak Worsens

The Severo Ochoa Hospital in Leganes has recorded a new death within the Moroccan community in Madrid, bringing to 3 the number of Moroccans living abroad who have died in Spain from the Coronavirus.
The third death recorded in one week, the victim, whose age has not been revealed, is from the Kebdana region, in the province of Nador.
The Moroccan embassy in Spain is closely monitoring the development of the epidemic in the country, particularly the situation of Moroccan nationals. At the same time, an information cell has been set up in order to interact with the fake news responsible for a state of panic within the Moroccan community.
The Coronavirus pandemic has caused 767 deaths in Spain and 17,000 confirmed cases, according to figures provided by the Spanish Ministry of Health. To date, the country is the 4th most affected nation in the world.
