Two Moroccan Immigrants Die from COVID-19 in Spain as Cases Surge

Within 48 hours, two Moroccan nationals residing in Spain, originally from the Rif region, succumbed to the infection by the new Coronavirus.
The two victims, whose ages have not been disclosed, died a day apart; one on Saturday, March 14 and the other on Sunday, March 15. Originally from the city of Al Hoceima, the second victim passed away at the Madrid Hospital Center.
According to Dalil rif, the remains will be buried by the health authorities within 24 hours, failing to be recovered by the victims’ relatives.
The fourth endemic focus in Europe, Spain has recorded 2,000 new positive cases of Coronavirus and 182 deaths in 24 hours, according to the latest report from the country’s authorities.
