Moroccan Mother Pleads with King Mohammed VI for Lifesaving Drug Unavailable in Morocco

A Moroccan national residing in Spain has launched a cry for help to King Mohammed VI, in the hope of saving her daughter whose life depends on a drug not available in Morocco.
Arrived in Tangier on March 10 to attend the funeral of her mother-in-law, the MRE, mother of 3 children, did not know that it would be impossible for her to return to her country of residence, let alone that her daughter would contract a serious illness requiring a drug that does not exist in Morocco.
Placed on artificial ventilation in an intensive care unit, the 17-year-old girl, whose vital prognosis is apparently engaged, risks succumbing to a respiratory crisis at any moment, failing a drug recommended by the hospital doctors, the mother confided.
Without a response from the Moroccan authorities, despite the intervention of the Spanish consulate, and fearing to lose her daughter, the mother is launching an appeal to the Sovereign to help her return home.
