Spanish Jet Ski Smugglers Caught with 90 Kilos of Cannabis off Moroccan Coast

A unit of the royal maritime gendarmerie, on patrol on the El Mersa beach near Ksar Sghir, succeeded on Tuesday in foiling an attempt to traffic more than 90 kilos of cannabis.
According to Alyaoum24, the coast guards triggered a chase against two individuals, of Spanish nationality, who had entered Moroccan waters on a jet ski.
At the end of this short manhunt, the two traffickers, who were carrying 3 packages of Chira of 30 kilos each and a GPS device, were finally neutralized, the same source points out.
The two individuals were taken into custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending their appearance before the court.
