Royal Navy Seizes 1,200 kg of Cannabis off Tangier Coast, 3 Arrested

A Royal Navy coast guard on a maritime patrol mission intercepted, on Saturday, 35 bales of cannabis resin exceeding 1,200 kilograms off Tangier. Subsequently, three individuals were arrested.
This operation took place off Tangier near the Hercules Caves, says a military source. The quantity of chira seized was in a boat.
The arrested suspects, the seized material and the cargo of narcotics were handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie of Tangier to conduct the investigations and legal proceedings, the same source specifies.
