A maritime patrol mission off the Mediterranean turned into a high-speed chase of a go-fast boat. The Royal Navy thwarted an attempt to traffic drugs.
According to military sources, during the chase, the driver of the go-fast boat got rid of his cargo consisting of "14 bales and 22 plastic jerrycans loaded with chira", reports la Map.
This cargo, estimated at more than a ton, was "recovered 15 kilometers from the coast, and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual procedures".
