Spanish-French Police Bust Major Hashish Smuggling Ring, Seize 2,500 Kilos

In collaboration with the French authorities, the Spanish police have dismantled a powerful organization dedicated to hashish trafficking between Morocco and France. In total, 3 people were arrested and 2,500 kilos of hashish seized.
According to the police, the investigation that led to the arrest of the main members of the network began last May. In addition to the 2,500 kilos of hashish, several vehicles dedicated to drug transport were seized.
The police investigation revealed that the vehicle was provided by a Moroccan national residing in Madrid, who is suspected of being one of the heads of the network.
More than once, the investigators observed movements of the members of the trafficking network, who traveled to different cities in order, it is said, to confuse the tracks.
Finally, on October 18th, having suspected a drug delivery, the Spanish and French authorities launched an operation, which led to the arrest of the 3 main elements of the gang in France, as well as the seizure of 2,500 kilos of hashish.
