Spanish Police Bust Hashish Smuggling Ring: 10 Kilos Found Hidden in Eggplant Shipment

The UDYCO of Estepona and Ceuta have dismantled a network trafficking Moroccan hashish destined for France. In total, 10 kilos of this drug, hidden in eggplant cartons, were seized and 3 individuals were arrested.
The network, which was dismantled in Malaga, specializes in the trafficking of hashish from Morocco destined for France. The operation, codenamed "Husky", led to the arrest of three people and the seizure of 10 kilos of hashish hidden in eggplant cartons, as well as 112 grams of cocaine, two pistols, 7,495 euros in cash and two vehicles (an off-road 4x4 and a van) used to transport drugs to France, according to a statement from the Directorate General of Police.
The three individuals, of French origin, aged 28, 42 and 50, are accused of drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and membership in a criminal group. They have been detained, at the disposal of the Malaga investigating court.
