Spanish Coach Juan Carlos Garrido Becomes Highest-Paid in Moroccan Soccer, Joins Wydad

The new Wydad coach, Juan Carlos Garrido, already has a good reputation behind him. To provide the technical supervision of the Reds, he will receive a monthly salary of 200,000 DH, thus becoming the best paid coach in the Moroccan football championship.
For four years, the Spanish technician will take charge of this Casablanca team for the next six months, replacing Sébastien Desabre.
At the head of this team, the Spanish coach will have to comply with the sports objectives of the team’s managers (Botola and African Champions League).
To carry out this task, the former coach of Étoile du Sahel will receive a monthly salary of 200,000 dh and thus becomes the best paid coach in the Moroccan football championship.
This salary will be increased to 350,000 dh if the new coach wins the championship, reports Le360. It could reach 500,000 DH in case of a double success (championship and champions league). His predecessor, the Frenchman Desabre, received nearly 300,000 dh per month, with a severance indemnity of 3.6 million dirhams.
