Spanish Auto Parts Exports to Morocco Dip 1.2% in 2021, Industry Data Shows

Spanish exports of automotive components to Morocco fell by -1.2% in 2021 compared to 2019, according to data from the Spanish Association of Automotive Component Producers (SERNAUTO).
Spanish exports of automotive components to Morocco slightly decreased last year to reach 832 million euros, a contraction of -13.7%, explains SERNAUTO, specifying that in addition to Morocco, these components are generally exported to the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, China, Mexico, Turkey, South Africa, Japan and Russia.
In 2021, Spain exported 19.66 billion euros worth of automotive components, an increase of 10% compared to 2020. Morocco accounts for 4.2% of total Spanish exports, compared to 66.4% for the EU.
