Spanish and Moroccan Intelligence Agencies Arrest Suspected ISIS Recruiter Near Madrid

The Spanish National Intelligence Center (CNI) in coordination with the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) of Morocco has succeeded in apprehending a Moroccan suspected of belonging to the terrorist organization Daesh in the town of Getafe.
The individual is accused of alleged participation in the crimes of integration into a terrorist organization, recruitment and indoctrination of third parties, the Spanish police said in a statement. The investigations carried out have also confirmed that the accused, of Takfirist ideology, fully adhered to the postulates of the terrorist organization Daesh and was continuously recruiting third parties through social networks, it specifies.
During a search of his home, the police seized numerous electronic materials, telephone terminals and documents that are being analyzed by the competent services.
The activities of the accused on the Internet have revealed that he was an addict of Daesh, engaged in the monitoring and dissemination of hundreds of files praising jihad and possessed jihadist military self-training manuals, the same source continues. He also helped a returnee from Syria settle in Spain by providing him with logistical support.
