Spain’s Top Prosecutor Hails Morocco as Regional Leader in Counterterrorism Efforts

Morocco’s determination to effectively combat terrorism is recognized and appreciated by the Chief Prosecutor of the National Court of Spain. He made this known during the Meeting of Prosecutors Members of the Quadripartite Anti-Terrorism Group held in Marrakech.
Jesus Alonso stated that "the Kingdom of Morocco is a leading country in the region in the fight against terrorism". He recognizes a very strong will on the part of Morocco, France, Spain and Belgium. Four countries that have seriously suffered from the terrorist threat and that, laboriously, coordinate their actions to fight this global danger.
"Today more than ever, we are called upon to work together to address organized crime, of which terrorism is one of its forms, through the unification of information sharing and coordination systems," he insisted.
