Spain Targets Bayern Munich’s Adam Aznou Amid Morocco Olympic Snub

The Spanish Football Federation is trying to snatch a gem from Morocco. It is the Moroccan winger of Bayern Munich Adam Aznou, very disappointed not to have been called up by Tarik Sektioui, the coach of the Moroccan Olympic team, to take part in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
It is a shattered dream for Adam Aznou who was very enthusiastic about participating in the Olympic Games in Paris. The young player was not called up by Tarik Sektioui to take part in this competition. Sources close to the Bayern Munich winger say he is very disappointed by the decision of the coach of the Moroccan Olympic team.
The same sources inform that the Spanish Football Federation (RFAF) is trying to take advantage of this situation to approach Adam Aznou and convince him to abandon Morocco for La Roja. The RFAF has invited the 17-year-old player and his parents to attend Spain’s match against Germany in the quarter-finals of the Euro, which ended in a victory for La Roja (2-1).
This is the second time the Moroccan has missed an important tournament with the Moroccan team. Last year, he was also not part of the list of the Atlas Cubs who took part in the U17 World Cup. This new exclusion of the Bayern Munich winger caused an uproar, as Adam Aznou was in great form and had delivered good performances with his club this season.
Graduated from the Masia, Barça’s academy, Aznou joined Bayern’s youth team in the summer of 2022. He signed his first professional contract with the German club this year , a contract that expires on June 30, 2027.
