Bayern Munich Prodigy Aznou Left Off Morocco’s U17 World Cup Squad

Adam Aznou, Moroccan prodigy of Bayern Munich, expressed his disappointment on Instagram after not being called up by Morocco for a preparation camp for the U17 World Cup to be held in Indonesia from November 10 to December 2.
Adam Aznou is not on the list of 25 Atlas Cubs called up by Said Chiba for a preparation camp in Qatar ahead of the upcoming U17 World Cup. The young player, playing in the Bayern Munich under-19 team, did not hide his disappointment following this news. "I will not play the U17 World Cup with the Moroccan team, the coach has other plans and is not counting on me," Aznou wrote on his Instagram account.
And he added: "I really wanted to and was very excited to be able to play the World Cup, but I won’t have this opportunity. I’m disappointed with this decision, but I respect it." The left-back says he doesn’t know the reasons for his non-selection, but "denies any accusations of off-field problems or misbehavior." Aznou did not fail, however, to wish good luck to the Cubs, concluding his post with the famous "DIMA MAGHRIB".
Adam Aznou chose to play for Morocco only 2 weeks ago. He had played in 2021 with the Moroccan under-15 team, before joining the lower Spanish categories (U16 and U17).
