Morocco’s Football Federation Pursues Bayern Munich Teen Adam Aznou Amid Nationality Uncertainty

While uncertainties loom over his sporting nationality, Adam Aznou, 17, remains a priority for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). The young player has deleted the post in which he had officially announced in October that he had joined the den of the Atlas Cubs.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is in no hurry to let go of the Adam Aznou case. The governing body of Moroccan football "intends to closely follow the young Bayern Munich player for a possible return to the den of the Lions," reports the site Al Mountakhab, adding that he should join the U-20s instead of the U-17s.

This week, Aznou removed from his Instagram account, followed by nearly 160,000 subscribers, a post in which he had announced in October that he had joined the Atlas Cubs. This suggests that he might turn his back on Morocco to represent Spain, his country of birth. His exclusion from the U-17 World Cup, which continues until December 2 in Indonesia, would be the reason for the removal of his post. The 17-year-old player and the U-17 coach are said not to have a good relationship. There would be some "extra-sporting" issues between Adam and Saïd Chiba.
