Spain Issues Arrest Warrants for 13 Migrants Who Fled After Emergency Landing

The Investigating Court of Palma in Majorca issued this week a national arrest warrant against the 13 migrants who escaped from Palma airport after an emergency landing. The judge also ordered the provisional detention of twelve other migrants.
The judge of the Palma Court has issued a national arrest and search warrant against these 13 migrants who took advantage of an emergency landing to escape from Palma airport, according to sources from the High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands.

Twelve other migrants were arrested and brought before the judge, who ordered their provisional detention for alleged crimes of disturbing public order, violence and related to illegal immigration.

According to the latest information, at least two of the fugitives would have reached Barcelona by ferry. The Spanish authorities, in collaboration with Morocco, continue the search to apprehend these migrants.
