Morocco Launches Probe into Alleged Organized Airport Escape Plot in Spain

Based on the Spanish investigations after the plane incident in Majorca, Morocco has opened an investigation to determine the outlines and the people involved in this case.
According to the first elements of the investigation conducted by the Spanish police, obtained after the arrest of 12 passengers, the accused, all Moroccans, would have planned "this illegal immigration" within a Facebook group called Brooklyn, reports the EFE agency.
In this group, a post was published in July describing a modus operandi very similar to what happened in Palma. "Guys, listen, most want to emigrate. Follow this plan: we need 40 volunteers. All the Brooklyn boys who book a plane to Turkey and fly over Spain," reads the message, in which it is explained that a passenger would pretend to be unwell to allow his accomplices to escape.
Three days later, Moroccan judicial and security sources indicated that investigations have been opened under the control of the competent prosecutor’s office to elucidate the ramifications of this incident, the press agency points out.
The people who fled will be prosecuted for non-compliance with air safety rules and illegal entry into Spanish territory and deported to their country of origin, the Spanish police said.
