Sole Survivor of Mali Attack on Moroccan Truckers Returns Home

Injured on September 11, in an attack targeting Moroccan truck drivers in Bamako, the only surviving driver who emerged unscathed returned to Morocco on Sunday to reunite with his loved ones.
Two other drivers were not as lucky as Mohamed Ouakrim. They were killed in the attack carried out on the road connecting the Mauritanian-Malian borders to Bamako. The only survivor arrived in Morocco on Sunday afternoon. He was accompanied by the owner of the truck attacked by unidentified armed individuals.
Happy to find him in good shape despite the crutches, his relatives and representatives of the professional associations of drivers, thanked the government for the efforts made since September 11. They strongly condemned the attack.
