Bodies of Moroccan Truck Drivers Killed in Mali Attack to be Flown Home

The remains of the two Moroccan truck drivers killed, on Saturday, in an attack in the commune of Didiéni, in Mali, will be repatriated this Thursday.
The mortal remains of the deceased Lahoucine Id Bella and Hassan Bassou will be repatriated by air from Bamako to Casablanca, before being transported to Agadir, announced a tweet from Hassan Naciri, Moroccan ambassador to Mali.
On this occasion, the diplomat reiterated his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and their loved ones, assuring that the driver, who was injured in this attack, is still being treated in a clinic in the Malian capital and that his health is improving.
For the record, an investigation is underway to elucidate the circumstances of this attack and to prosecute its perpetrators. Two Moroccan truck drivers were killed and another was injured by armed men and a fourth survived.
The assailants were hooded, wore bulletproof vests and had walkie-talkies and after committing their crime, they left the scene without stealing the slightest object from the victims.
